Vadim Demin (May 17, 1961) — the Winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in science and technology.
In 1984 he has graduated from Moscow aviation institute on a speciality «Aircraft construction» (faculty № 1).
Occupied posts: the technician, the engineer-designer, the Senior design engineer, Deputy Chief Designer (1980-2008).
V. Demin participated in designing and building of planes Foton (Senior design engineer), Aviatika-MAI-900 «Acrobat». He was the Senior design engineer of family of airplanes Aviatika-MAI-890.
He supervised over the organisation and support of serial production of planes at aviation factory MAPO «MiG». In 1999 V. Putin had been handed State Prize of Russian Federation in science and technology.
V. Demin — the head and one of authors of programs «MAI-223», «MAI-208», «MAI-227» and MAI-407. He leaded production of airships balloons Au-12М and Au-30 in Joint-Stock Company «Avgur». Vadim Demin was a member of the international flight crew at tests of Jean-Louis Etienne’s Total Pole Airship Au-30.
Since July 1st, 2008 V. Demin is appointed by Chief Designer of OSKBES MAI.
